President's Message

E. A Joseph Elavumkal

Hi Everyone, MEC's 4th Pravasi Samgamam was celebrated at Stoke-on-trent on 22nd May. On behalf of the executive committe of MEC, I would like to thank all  UK Monippallians who attended this event! MEC is growing in the UK and we want to grow together with all the Monippallians living abroad. We have to work hard  to begin the  new chapter, Global MEC. Discussions and talks are going on with our friends living around the globe. More updates will be published later.  "Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success." Wish you all success.

Monippally Expatriate Community (MEC in UK)

Welcome to our website!  There are many reasons we find ourselves in a new country. Sometimes the job takes us here. Sometimes we follow our loved ones. Some seek higher education and others want to explore new possibilities. Whatever the reason, we are relocated to a new world of experiences.

MEC is the expatriate community of people from Monippally living in the UK. We provide a forum for friendly social activities to spread the ethnicity of our culture among the community in general and also impart a good understanding of our heritage, tradition and values to the young generation in this community. Our Vision - Reach the Culture

Indians everywhere should become enlightened International citizens. Wherever you are, whichever country you live, enrich that nation, not only in financial terms, but also with your sweat knowledge and dignity since that is the tradition of the country from where you came. At the same time, remember we have a common umbilical connectivity to our motherland, India. A P J Abdul Kalam
